Jaclyn Skull is the newest addition to the LMGW management team. Jaclyn joined LMGW in 2007, specializing in the areas of small business accounting and taxation. In early 2011 Jaclyn obtained her CPA license and was soon promoted into a long awaited but well deserved management role. As a manager, Jaclyn is not only responsible for assisting her corporate and individual clients on their tax returns, but also serves as an advisor for aiding LMGW’s top clients in developing seamless tax planning strategies.
Jaclyn brings a thorough and varied level of accounting experience to LMGW. She started over a decade ago in private industry accounting and small business management, focusing in the areas of retail, service and entertainment industries. Soon after obtaining her bachelor’s of science degree in Economics with concentrations in Quantitative Economics and Accounting, Jaclyn branched out to full service accounting for industries such as medical wholesale, healthcare, construction and real estate investment and development.
Jaclyn’s accounting experience in multiple industries induced a thirst for working with all types of businesses and led her toward the path of public accounting. Public accounting provided Jaclyn with a way to consult with clients on a day to day basis and provide a variety of services including taxation, financial reporting and outside CFO work. An uncanny observer of details, Jaclyn now assists with LMGW’s top business clients on their portfolio budgeting, cash flow forecasting, business management and tax planning strategies. Additionally, she assists her clients with audits from government taxing and regulatory agencies and is competent in payroll, sales tax and worker’s compensation issues.
Jaclyn has also been a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor since 2007 and has assisted with the implementation of QuickBooks for several LMGW business clients. Furthermore, she has immense knowledge and experience on various other accounting softwares including Peachtree, MAS, MYOB, Yardi and American Contractor. Jaclyn is the go to person for overseeing the training and implementation of various accounting softwares for her colleagues and clients.
When Jaclyn is not at LMGW, she looks forward to spending time with her husband Edward and their families, practicing yoga and expanding her culinary exploits.
